2016 Cabernet Sauvignon

Wildwood Oak Winery 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, Lodi, CA – Summer’s Point

This is a full-bodied California style Cabernet Sauvignon with classic taste of dark currants and black cherries with a hint of vanilla. On the nose you get dark cherries and vanilla. The palate confirms the dark fruit and hint of vanilla.

Awards: Silver Medal: San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and; Bronze: Orange County Wine Society Commercial Competition and San Francisco International Wine Competition.

Ruby garnet color. Aromas and flavors of black plum, granola with nuts, toasted coconut, and cola with a silky, crisp, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a brisk finish that shows shades of spiced chocolate toffee with moderate oak flavor. A rich and savory cabernet with pleasing depth and warmth.
