2019 Syrah

Wildwood Oak Winery 2019 Abba Vineyard “Amelia’s Cove” Syrah

This is a full-bodied Syrah with intense aromas and flavors including black fruit such as black cherries, black plums, and black current. The wine is also complex, yet balanced with a variety of floral including lavender, Herbs of Provence and baking spices. There is a hint of leather, cedar, vanilla, white pepper and smoke with a long commanding finish

Medium violet color. Aromas and flavors of leather, dried blueberries, clove, vanilla, espresso bean, and charcuterie with round, bright, dried medium to full body and a tingling, appealing, medium-length finish with accents of baked plum, cast iron pan, and blackberries with well-integrated, fine tannins and moderate oak flavor. A rich and brooding Syrah that speaks of sunbaked wines and wild landscapes.
