The nose: Intense aromas of rich black fruit like black cherries, black plums and black currant with floral like lavender and violet with baking spices and vanilla.
The palate: Upfront, there is an intense ripe black fruit, yet nicely balanced. This is followed baking spices, a hint of vanilla, leather, cedar, white pepper and smoke with a long commanding finish.
